The first global gap year community.
When you take a gap year, you automatically become part of the tribe of explorers, adventurers and experience collectors. But let’s be real – coming back from a gap year can also feel a little lonely.
How many of us have returned from a life-changing experience only to find things exactly the same? We’ve changed, but our hometowns, schools and friends haven’t.
Until now, there hasn’t been a central spot to connect with the rest of the gapper tribe to swap stories and spread good vibes. We'd like to change that, which is why we started this community.
This is a place where it’s okay to be a little different and to ask the hard questions. Where people won’t get tired of hearing about how cool it was to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro or about the kids you met volunteering at an orphanage in Peru. It’s also a jumping off point to what comes next, including connecting with future employers who get the shifting paradigms of work, play, and everything in between.
No gap year is the same, just like no gapper is the same, but there are a few important characteristics (like awesomeness) that we all have in common. For the first time, let’s celebrate our differences and our similarities, together.
